Back To School Night, Ladies Night and Racing To Remember comprise remaining August schedule at Arrowhead

The Arrowhead Championship Series Driven by America's Car-Mart continues in the month of August with a trio of great events; Back To School Night on Friday August 11th, Ladies' Night on Friday August 18th and Racing To Remember - Bob King and Susan Stand Memorial on Friday August 25th. All four weekly divisions - Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods and USRA Tuners - will compete all month long.

Back To School Night on August 11th will feature great giveaways as well as discounted ticket prices for students, who will soon be returning to the classroom. The teachers and other education personnel will also get in at a discount, as a thank you for their service to our communities. The first 400 students through the gates on Back To School Night will receive a FREE backpack with their admission ticket. Students of all ages, including college students with proper ID, will be admitted for only $5. Teachers and school personnel with proper ID will also be admitted for the low price of just $5. Students, teachers and school faculty are encouraged to sport their school apparel on this fun race night. General admission prices of $15 for adults and $10 for seniors (62+) will apply with pit passes (ages 6+) being $30.

Ladies' Night on August 18th will feature a full race program before the ladies get their turn in Powder Puff competition at the end of the night. There will be three divisions of Powder Puff racing - Modified (both A & B-Mods will be combined), Stock Car and Tuner. Racing To Remember - Bob King and Susan Stand Memorial on August 25th will honor two people who influenced racing across the area in a positive way. As an official, Bob King brought a positive light to the pit area in the lineup chute with a smile on his face and a willingness to help any racer. As a driver, Susan Stand was a well-known female competitor trailblazing through a sport of mostly male competitors. Susan competed most commonly in the "Pure Stock" division so in tribute to Susan, the Area Pure Stocks will be invited back to Arrowhead Speedway, and many of her former on-track foes will have the chance to compete in her honor. August 25th will also be championship night (the final track points race) for the Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modifieds.

Standard weekly event pricing will be in effect for August 18th and 25th: adults $15, seniors (62+) $10, juniors (13-17) $10, kids (6-12) $5 and kids (5 & under) are free. Pit passes for all ages 6+ are $30. Times for August 11th, 18th and 25th are: pits open at 4:00 p.m., grandstands open at 6:00 p.m., hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. and racing is at 8:00 p.m.
