An epic night of Dirt Modified racing is in store the next time the gates swing open at Arrowhead Speedway on Friday May 24th. Two regional series collide as the all-new Heartland Modified Tour takes on the American Racer Modified Series in the North vs. South Modified Shootout.
This event is the opening leg of Joe Duvall’s Funkadelic Dirt Track & Honky Tonk Extravaganza, an annual event that combines fun grassroots-type racing with state fair and carnival-like theatrics. Trophy girls, fireworks and one-of-a-kind trophies and awards are just a few of the added attractions. For the fans, there will be a contest that will award one lucky fan $500 cash. Fans will also get to meet and greet their heroes when the Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modified A-Main field comes to the grandstands for a frisbee toss and autograph session.
In addition to the Modifieds, the Summers Well Drilling USRA Stock Cars, AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods and Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Tuners will also be in action competing for Arrowhead Championship Series Driven By America’s Car-Mart points. The $500 to win, $50 to start Pure Adrenaline Challenge featuring Area Pure Stocks has also been rescheduled for this event. Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Tuners will also compete for $300 to win with $50 added to both the 2nd and 3rd place finishing positions thanks to Jason Henson and the team at America’s Car-Mart Siloam Springs. If there are 20 or more Tuners the feature will pay $500 to win.
