July Preview: racing returns July 12th after Independence Day weekend break

June 30, 2024

Still reeling from a busy month in June and the record-setting Fast Cars, Freedom and Fireworks event, fans, drivers and employees of Arrowhead Speedway will take a mid-season pause to observe Independence Day weekend with no racing on July 5th. However, three great events are planned for July with racing set to resume on July 12th.

Friday, July 12 – Scorchin’ Summer Shootout plus Arrowhead Championship Series Driven By America’s Car-Mart

AmeriFlex B-Mods battle for big bucks and bragging rights and all drivers get a chance to compete in a feature event with a unique Gold, Silver, Bronze feature format. The Gold Feature will pay $1,500 to win and $150 to start; the Silver Feature will pay $1,000 to win and $100 to start; and the Bronze Feature (if needed) will pay $500 to win and $50 to start. A full program of Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modifieds, Summers Well Drilling USRA Stock Cars, AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods and Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Tuners.

The B-Mods will run under the B-Mod Bedlam rules which allows for various sanctions to compete under their own rule set without changes. No USRA licenses required and no points will be awarded. There is a $50 pre-entry fee or $100 late entry fee at the track on race day. Drivers can pre-enter here: https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/2832/registrations/10116.

Friday, July 19th – Arrowhead Championship Series Driven By America’s Car-Mart plus Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Trophy Dash

A full program of Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modifieds, Summers Well Drilling USRA Stock Cars, AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods and Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Tuners, plus the top six Tuners in heat race passing points will run a “Trophy Dash” to line up the front three rows of the A-Main. The Dash will pay $100 to win if the winner opts to start sixth in the A-Main, or they can forfeit the cash and keep the pole. If the dash winner starts sixth and wins the A-Main as well, they garner a $50 bonus.

Friday, July 26th – Xtreme Outlaw Series Midgets plus Summers Well Drilling USRA Stock Cars and AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods

The biggest show in July caps off the month as the Xtreme Outlaw Series Midgets make their series debut at Arrowhead. The same cars and many of the same stars of Tulsa’s famed Chili Bowl will compete at Arrowhead in a $4,000 to win thriller. Summers Well Drilling USRA Stock Cars and AmeriFlex USRA B-Mods will also compete for track points while Yeoman Race Engines USRA Modifieds and Clear Creek Golf Car USRA Tuners will have the week off.
